Serra de Tramuntana

Living in Soller, every day surrounded by the beautiful Tramuntana mountains, it is impossible not to be awed by their beauty and the way they never seem to look the same 2 days running. I have so many photos of them on my phone, and have already painted them at least a dozen times, but still I want to take more photos and paint more views.
In these particularly trying times - is it just me or does this year's round of everything being closed seem much worse than the original lockdown? - it is wonderful to be able to be outside, looking at the magnificence of the hills. Except this morning they were gone! Low cloud had completely covered them, and they were no more, for a couple of hours anyway. Of course, I had to get my camera to capture this phenomena, but it also made me think again about just how special this place is and how lucky we are to live here.
If I am ever feeling a bit fed up, I just go outside and take in the view and everything seems better!
