Starting Out

My neighbour recently asked me where to go to choose some art for his house, and I realised that there was nowhere I could think of where he would be able to see different artists, styles and types of work. I thought it might be useful to have a directory of artists so that people could browse and find the types of work they were looking for, and know where to find the artists. I also hoped to create a space where artists could get to know others, and have a community.

As I started to work on the site, I realised that perhaps no-one would want to join, so perhaps this may not be successful, but I'm going to give it a go. I've never created a website before, so I am sure there will be many mistakes along the way, but hopefully it will be fun!
