Thomas Kuppler

<p class="font_8">Thomas’ work is many things at once; painting, photography, poem and sculpture.</p>
<p class="font_8">Originally from Stuttgart, Germany, he moved to London in the 90s, where he continued to make work and exhibit internationally. He graduated with a MA Photography (distinction) from Central Saint Martins, UAL London in 2014.</p>
<p class="font_8">Meanwhile he is spending more time in Mallorca to escape the hectic life of London and fuel his spiritual and creative mind.</p>
<p class="font_8">Through a fluid merging of practices his works are layered, deconstructed and masked to create pieces which are both seen and not seen, where the overlays acting as both veil and window to the image beneath.</p>

<p class="font_8">Experiments with Polaroid by tracing their development from the latent image to the final visible, triggered a constant experience of revelation and concealment.</p>
