Sally Anne Wood

My name is Sally Anne I am a self taught English painter living in Mallorca, for more than two decades.
I have been exploring the world between fantasy and reality through a naive style of oils on canvas. I am currently working on a project of Soller, also smaller paintings of Palma.
I invite the viewer into a world where the boundaries between the real and the imagined capture simple stories of life and emotion. I shift perspectives of buildings and the characters to create a curious detailed painting,
My most ambitious piece is a ten-meter oil painting that showcases this city in a new light, with a style that mixes childlike wonder with deep emotions. I wish that my paintings speak to the audiences heart that they might relate to true experiences of living.
My main body of work consists of paintings of Bunyola and Palma de Mallorca, Soller observing most of my journey living on the island of Palma de Mallorca.
I have many other styles and collections also available, having kept my work throughout these past 20 years of transformation
