La joia més extraordinària (The Most Extraordinary Jewel)

PHOTOGRAPHY

Film on Canvas

100cm x 70cm

This image, capturing the Sóller valley is a homage to the timeless beauty of the island and the connection to the land. Inspired by the writing of Miquel Ferrà i Juan (1893-1947), a major literary voice and cultural figure in Mallorca, with a deep love of the Tramuntana. He would often refer to Sóller as ‘La joia més extraordinària del paisatge mallorquí’ (the most extraordinary jewel of the Mallorcan landscape).
