Merry Christmas

2025 was another busy year for Artists of Mallorca.

The group exhibitions in the Museu de Sóller were very well attended, and it was great to speak to people returning to visit after attending events last year. The gallery and patio are lovely spaces to host and participate in art shows.

The Túnel de l'Art in the Port de Sóller was, as always, great fun to do, and wonderful to see so many artists and so much support from local people and the Ayuntamiento.

The 2025 Artists of Mallorca Art Prize had the highest number of participants to date, and 445 people voted in person in the Eleccion Popular, 50% more than last year. It was particularly nice for me to have support from Lightwall, who sponsored a large prize and designed and printed the posters for events throughout the year, huge thanks to all the team there.

The website continues to grow, with around 10000 visitors last year, all interested in the vibrant art community on the island. Thank you to all the artists who have uploaded their work and kept it up to date.

So, on to 2026.

The first exhibition will take place from 27 March to 11 April in the Museu de Sóller. If you are interested in taking part, please let me know at sharon@artistsofmallorca.com

The 5th edition of the Art Prize will be held later than previous years, with the final taking place on the 25th of September, when hopefully it will not be quite so hot!
