Artists of Mallorca Art Prize 2026 - Finalists

Since the middle of June, artists on the island have been deciding which works to present in the Artists of Mallorca Art Prize 2026.

During that time, the jury have been looking at the items and deciding which would be their choice for finalists. At the beginning of this week, the jury met to deliberate and agree a selection. Normally this takes a few hours, as there is general agreement, however, this year it went on for 2 days, which I think says a lot about the level of work that was submitted.

Thank you to all 119 artists who took the time to participate, it would be wonderful to actually be able to see all of the works before having to make the final selection, as photographs rarely do justice to the art.

The Finalists Exhibition will take place in the Museu de Sóller from 11 to 26 September. The inauguration will be on the Friday 11 September from 19.30, and that is when voting will open for the Elección Popular. Voting will be open until 25 September directly at the Museu de Sóller during the opening hours. Everyone is invited to the inauguration, and to vote, so come along and support your favourite.

The Grand Final and announcement of winners will be on Saturday 26 September from 20.00. Again, everyone is invited to join us to celebrate.
