Work In Progress...

There have been some changes to ArtistsofMallorca.com , with the aim of making it easier to find the art you love, and for artists to keep their work up to date on the site.

One of the biggest changes is to the Galeria which now allows for filtering, making it easier to see art by type or by location or subject. As always, you can click on the art to go directly to that artists page to see more of their work.

The artists pages have also changed, to put more emphasis on the work in a gallery layout. The list of artists is now all on one page, alphabetically, so no need to chop between pages to find artists. Also, when you are on an artists page, you can click next to move through to the next artist.

For artists new to the website, you can now create your profile here. All artists can then add to their page and to the galeria by uploading work here You can now upload as many items as you like.

I am not a technical person, but I do enjoy challenging myself to try to make these things happen and to keep the site evolving. Happy to hear what you think!

Exhibitions and Art Prize

The next exhibition is a collaboration with MaritimArt in the Museu de la Mar in Port de Soller on 26 June. This is an incredible location, with stunning views, and a variety of exhibition spaces. It forms part of the celebration for San Pere, the patron saint of the Port. The artists have already been selected for this, and I hope you will come along and see it.

The Art Prize launches for inscriptions on the 14 of June, looking forward to seeing all of the entries for this 5th edition of the event.

In November we have an additional exhibition working with a Vinyard, more about that when I have details sorted.

It has been a busy time, but there has also been fun painting. I'm really enjoying this latest series of rose paintings, the background is great to do, playing around with the colours.
