Sandra Lehnis
Sandra Lehnis Artista suiza afincada en Mallorca desde 2005, Sandra Lehnis expone regularmente desde 1993 en Suiza, Francia, Italia, EE. UU. y España. Formada en pintura clásica y Bellas Artes, desarrolló desde joven un lenguaje abstracto y purista. Su obra abarca pintura, fotografía y grabado. En 2007, realizó una serie de grabados en la Fundación Miró, coeditados por Murtra Edicions. La naturaleza de Mallorca es su principal fuente de inspiración.

Writings – Schriften is Lehnis’s tribute to the imagery and the book The Writings by American artist Agnes Martin (1912–2004). Martin’s quiet, contemplative works resonate deeply with the Swiss artist. The series Writings – Schriften – Ode an das Meer unfolds through lines drawn across the surface. These lines evoke the tranquillity of the Mediterranean landscape, transforming the act of repetition into a visual language that hints at a subtle alphabet of the sea.
