Britta Liebsch

Liebsch

I grew up as the daughter of a fashion designer, inheriting an artistic spirit that has always guided me. After a career in branding and design, I am now fully dedicated to art. I developed my voice through a process inspired by my studies with Nicholas Wilton, blending photography with abstract textures, layering elements to create a bridge between past and present. Born in Germany, I’ve lived in Canada, South Africa, and Spain—experiences that shaped my perspective.

I am exploring the delicate balance between evolution and the preservation of tradition, between honoring the past and embracing the future. Through layered paint, collage, and vintage photography, this body of work acknowledges history while reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens.
