Natalia (Tasha) Poletaeva

Tasha Poletaeva is a Russian born artist who lives in Majorca. She moved to the Mediterranean in 2000, leaving an academic career in Philology to immerse herself in drawing and painting. Working predominantly with oils and palette knife Tasha creates still lifes of the fruit and flora of the western Mediterranean, inspired both by the natural beauty of the fruit's physical form and its metaphysical essence.
