Cloë Collette weaves large scaled textural landscapes portraying the inner world of those she weaves for, using local handspun yarns. Inspired by stories, spaces and nature, she aims to translate fine emotions into colour and form. Cloë has transformed ancient weaving traditions into her own personal style and art form that she hopes to serve and connect others with. Her commissioned works portray people’s story and space, becoming personal objects of inspirational value.

Zon da prioridad a la cultura, intentando reanimar una parte del arte perdido en la isla, intentando acercar los valores a los jóvenes de hoy en día. Su estilo abarca una gama de diferentes productos como puede ser la moda hasta murales. Manteniendo siempre los colores y la simbología que tanto le representan.
In this sculpture, the pregnant female figure rises as the axis of the world, her hands resting upon her belly, guarded by two resting bulls. It evokes the “Mistress of Animals” of Neolithic times — primordial visions in which the woman stands as the center of symmetry, the creative force, and the principle of order. The red oxide that grounds the piece recalls the ritual pigment of the earliest female representations, a symbol of blood, earth, and life.
In this sculpture, the name Saba acts as a bridge between nature and culture, between root and gaze. In Catalan, saba is the vital fluid that runs through trees, carrying nutrients and energy, sustaining the life, strength, and resilience of every branch and leaf. At the same time, Saba evokes the legendary Queen of Sheba, a powerful and enigmatic figure who, according to tradition, reigned with wisdom, wealth, and autonomy.

This series of sculptures are inspired by the work ''The Language Of The Goddess'' (1989), by the Lithuanian archaeologist Marija Gimbutas (1921-1994).

Esta Obra se conecta con algo profundo en mi vida, y la de muchos, nuestros antecesores, ancestros, los vivos y los que ya no están, que viven aún en nuestras células, que SON LO QUE SON, personas con vidas. Y he plasmado la picardía de aceptar nuestras vidas e historias, en Mallorca porque es donde las personas vienen buscando reír libres y naturalmente, conectar con otro ritmo. Una REVERENCIA a lo que estamos haciendo en este preciso instante que reúne a todos LOS que fueron, somos y seremos.
Després del paradís representa de forma simbólica a Mallorca, nuestro paraíso, en el cuadro aparece una mujer a modo de venus, el mar, la flor de almendro y en el horizonte el faro de ses Salines.
La filla del mar es un homenaje a las criaturas mitológicas marinas, las náyades, sirenas de Ulises, los seres imaginarios de la cultura occidental.

Represento una autentica arengada mallorquina. Los colores cálidos y terrosos reflejan la herencia de la isla. Cada trazo revela la pasión y la dedicación con la que se prepara este majar ancestral, trasmitiendo una conexión profunda con la tierra y sus raíces. “Esperar Mallorquí” es un homenaje a la cultura y la historia de Mallorca, un lienzo que transciende el tiempo y nos invita a saborear la esencia misma de esta tierra mediterránea.
He dado vida a una enigmática medusa del Mediterráneo de Mallorca. Con sutiles tonalidades amarillas y violetas, esta criatura marina parece flotar en el lienzo, capturando la esencia de las aguas mediterráneas. Sus tentáculos danzan con suavidad, recordándome la serenidad y la magia oculta bajo el mar. Esta obra invita a explorar los enigmas de la vida marina y me conecta con la belleza y la fragilidad del entorno natural de Mallorca.

The "Geoforms | the shape of wind" is a collection of uncatalogued figures that are shaped by nature-based elements. In these series, I've focussed on wind due to its strength over the centuries and how it affects it. It is a symbolic representation of the imperceptible presence of time that passes through our bodies and gives us shape.

I love the wildness of the sea. Especially in winter, the ocean tells his own stories. Often there are only a few moments to capture the sea in its vividness. Lashing rain and Sea sand are as much a part of my toolkit as brushes and colours.
