Javier Bisbal

I was born in Menorca on July 14, 1982. I began drawing and painting classes at Escola d’Arts i Oficis de Menorca, where I learned the use of some different techniques. I studied fine arts in Barcelona and Hotel management at the same time. During that period I learned other artistic techniques and in 2011 I moved to NYC to finish my university degree (hotel management) and I took the opportunity to take some lessons about how to draw comics.

I never held any exhibition as I started again to draw after many years being focus on my professional career (which is not related to arts). My art is mainly American comic however I also experiment with abstract painting in a more personal way.

2020 has been a year where I’ve been able to have more time to draw and “rescue” my art which has been very well accepted in different social platforms with amazing feedback and proposals within comic world
